

Zhiyong "Mike" Li (李智勇) is a Los Angeles–based Composer, Sound Designer, and Professional Asian Woodwind Player. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring and Electronic Production & Design, he creates original music and immersive sound design for film, video games, and interactive media.
Born in Dalian, China, Mike began playing the Dizi at age eight and later expanded to the Xiao, Bawu, Xun, and Shakuhachi. With 15+ years of performance experience, he has recorded for major games such as Honor of Kings, Moonlight Blade, and Kingdom Craft, bringing authenticity and emotional depth to their soundtracks.
Mike’s career began at Tencent Games and Hexany Audio, and he is now a Sound Designer and Asset Manager at Sound Lab, a Keywords Studio in Los Angeles, contributing to major productions like Destiny Rising, Last Sentinel, Final Fantasy, Cyberpunk 2077, Transformers One, and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.
Fluent in both Chinese and English, Mike brings a global perspective to his work. Whether composing, designing, or performing, his mission is simple: to craft unforgettable sonic experiences that connect with audiences worldwide.
