Chris is a senior-level sound designer and engineer with a diverse background in music, film, and games. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Chris initially aimed to pursue music production after a transformative experience recording guitar for a student at Savannah College of Art and Design, where he later graduated with a BFA in Sound Design. Following graduation, he began his career at Cartoon Network in Atlanta before relocating to Los Angeles, where he worked in reality TV, most notably on Survivor.

In 2011, Chris joined Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ team, becoming the lead engineer for Nine Inch Nails, as well as contributing musical sound design work on film scores and albums with Reznor and Atticus Ross for projects like Watchmen (2019), Twin Peaks (2017), Ken Burns’ The Vietnam War, Bird Box, and more. Transitioning into gaming and film sound design in 2016 with Soundlab, Chris’ first foray into AAA gaming was creating the signature sound for “Radianite,” a living element in Riot’s FPS game, Valorant.

His gaming credits include work on Destiny 2, Crash Bandicoot, Knives Out, Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile, Rogue Company, and more. In recognition of his outstanding work, Chris and his team at Soundlab received an Emmy in 2021 for their sonic contributions to Maya and the Three. His impressive film and television credits also feature titles like Transformers One and Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio. Chris continues to push the boundaries of sound design, bringing creativity and innovation to every project he undertakes.
