Ken Jacobsen is a game and film composer — and a genuine heavy-metal guitarist and producer — who has written music on Spider-Man: Edge of Time, The Amazing Spider-Man and Lost Planet 3, alongside extensive library work. Conservatory-trained at Mannes College of Music, with further film-scoring studies at NYU and Berklee, he specializes in dark, aggressive, cinematic music for horror and action-adventure — orchestra meets metal, written, performed, and produced entirely in-house.

Metal is his signature. As founder, lead guitarist, and producer of the technical/progressive metal band Unleashed Power, Ken brings the real thing — genuine amp tone, technical riffing, and heavyweight production, not sampled approximations. His score for Hell's Belles won Best Original Score, and his work spans games, film, and television.

Based in Los Angeles at his Sonic Gravity Studios, Ken is a one-stop composer who can write it, play it, produce it, and mix it.
