In Mike’s current role with Sound Lab, he works as a Junior Sound Designer and Asset Manager, contributing to high-profile projects such as Final Fantasy, Cyberpunk 2077, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, and Transformers One. Mike specializes in studio audio engineering, managing and troubleshooting Pro Tools systems and large-scale SFX databases.

Zhiyong 'Mike' Li is also a Composer, Sound Designer, and Audio Engineer based in Burbank, California. Originally from Dalian, China, Mike holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music, specializing in Film Scoring, Electronic Production & Design, and Video Game Scoring.  Mike is fluent in both Chinese and English.

In addition to his technical skills, Mike is a Chinese Flute player with 15+ years of performance experience, blending traditional sounds with modern media.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys traveling, road trips through California, wine tastings, cooking, and playing billiards.
